SHEFFIELD LAKE - Patricia L. Miller (nee Wile), 75 of Sheffield Lake for the past 13 years, and formerly of Avon Lake, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the Lutheran Home after a three year battle with cancer.
She was born on May 1, 1938 in Franklin, Pennsylvania. Patricia graduated from Franklin High School and worked for a beauty expo company. Her career allowed her to do a lot of traveling, which se truly enjoyed. She was a frequent visitor at Faith Lutheran Church and was a member of the West Shore Water Ski Club. Patricia's interests include water skiing, boating and camping. Most recently She enjoyed spending time with her two grandsons.
Patricia is survived by her son, Marcus R. Shick (H. Elizabeth) of Sheffield Lake and grandsons, Adam and Samuel.
She is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Mildred (nee Ramesdale) Wile and sister, Nancy Wile.
A Memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 2265 Garden Dr., Avon with Pastor David Woolsey officiating, Wednesday, September 18 at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119.
