Paul Attie Obituary
Paul was born on March 30, 1928 in Amherst, OH to his parents, Pete and Celia (nee: Sabatia) Attie. He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church in Elyria, American Legion Post #118 in Amherst, the Knights of Columbus Coucil #637 in Lorain and Senior Citizens in Lorain, OH. Paul owned and operated, Paul's Auto Body in Lorain for 50 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening, traveling and restoring old cars.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Joyce Attie, whom he married on October 10, 1987; children, Beverly Nolden of Texas, Anneke (Dan) Loos-Brady of Sheffield Lake and Moniquel Lusk of Elyria; grandchildren, Melvin (Sandra), Melissa (John-fiance) and Michael (Sandi) Jenkins; and his sisters, Marie Robinson and Cenerma Preston; and brother, Walter (June) Attie.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Donna Jenkins; sisters, Lucille Waldecki; Eva Swartz, Esther Smink; and brother, Raphael Attie.
The family will receive friends at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 41295 N. Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH 44035 on Thursday, March, 31, 2011 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Fr. James R. Ols, Pastor, officiating. Christian burial services will be held at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., where military honors will be conducted by the Amherst Veterans military honor guard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Church and online condolences may be sent using www.rsgfuneralhome.com.
