BLUEFIELD, W.Va. - Rita Jo Taylor, 73, of Dinger Road Bluefield, W.Va., passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, W.Va.
Rita was born on September 6, 1939 in Lorain, Ohio to the late Albert Thompson and Lillian Vanessa Fernier Thompson. She had been a resident of Bluefield for the past 23 years.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Wesley Taylor of Bluefield, W.Va.; her daughter, Dana Marie Finnegan and husband Michael of Portsmouth, R.I.; her son, Wesley Shelton Taylor and wife Christine of Elyria, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jasmine Finnegan of Rhode Island, Taylor Jacob Finnegan of Huntington, Ind. and Melissa Kay Sternberg of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. She is also survived by three sisters and one brother.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers.
In accordance with Rita's wishes she is being cremated and no services are being held. Private entombment will be held at later date at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Huron, Ohio.
