Ronald Yepko, Sr. Obituary
Ronald Yepko, Sr., 69, of Vermilion, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at his home following a brief illness.
Ronald was born May 19, 1948 in Lorain, OH and had been a life long Vermilion resident.
He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was in the 173rd Airborne Division and earned many combat medals including the Purple Heart.
Ronald retired from US Steel and RTI as a Shearman.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, visiting the casino, and Bingo. He loved his family and was grateful for their love and support. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ruby Yepko (nee James) of Vermilion; son, Ronald Yepko, Jr; sister, Corrine (Jim) Moore; brothers, Robert (Arlene Yuhasz) Yepko, Nick (Virginia White) Yepko, Donald Augustine, and Anthony (Linda Bentley) Augustine; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Yepko and Louise Yepko Augustine (nee Dudukovich); step father, Mill Augustine; sister, Sylvia Neeley; and brother Milan Yepko.
At the family's request, all services are private.
