She was born in Lorain, Ohio on June 18, 1931 to her loving parents, Samuel and Mary (nee: D'Adario) Magazzine.
She graduated with a Master's Degree in Education from Kent State University and was an elementary school teacher in the Lorain City Schools for 33 years. She married her husband, Quintino in 1955 and they were blessed in raising their four children. Rosemary enjoyed cooking for family and friends, water aerobics and spending time with her grandchildren, which brought her the most joy.
She is survived by her loving children, Quintino A. DiFilippo, Fred (Marla) DiFilippo, Frank (Ana) DiFilippo and Julimarie (Mark) Mishak: and grandchildren, Madeline and Nick DiFilippo; Francesco DiFilippo and Christian Quiles; Mark II and Michael Mishak.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Quintino G. DiFilippo; parents; brothers, Michael (Sarah) and Joseph (Dolores) Magazzine; and nephew, Mark Magazzine.
The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Peter Church, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM with Fr.
