Ted Stanziano Obituary

Ted H. Stanziano of New Port Richey, Florida, formerly of Amherst, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Dec. 14, 2011 at the age of 75. He was born on January 28, 1936 in Lorain, Ohio. Ted was a 1954-A graduate of Lorain High School. He also attended Ohio University. Ted was an honorary life member of Knights of Columbus Council #637 and is a past Grand Knight. He also was a member of the Amherst Eagles as well as a past member of Lorain Toastmasters. Ted's hobbies included fishing, golfing, boating, bowling, cooking, painting, dancing and numerous trips to Las Vegas. Ted is survived by is loving wife of 56 years, Helen (Toots) Stanziano (nee Kopronica). Together they owned T-N-T Antiques and House of Flowers for over 28 years in Lorain. He was also a real estate agent, notary public, and auctioneer. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Ted (Laura) Stanziano, Terri (Tom) Gardner, Tami (David) Wyler, Tanya (Eric) Maier, along with many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss him dearly. Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave. Lorain. Closing prayers will be offered in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20,the. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave. Lorain. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
