Timothy L. Henthorn
SHEFFIELD VILLAGE - Timothy L. Henthorn, 27, of Sheffield Village, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at his home.
He was born August 31, 1985 in Elyria, grew up in Lorain and had resided in Sheffield Village for the past 4 years.
Tim graduated from Clearview High School in 2003 where he was a kicker on the football team. While in high school, Tim was part of the PSEO program at Lorain County Community College and earned an Associate Degree from the college before he graduated from high school. He attended the University of Toledo and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. As he received his Bachelor Degree, his father Larry walked him to receive his own Masters Degree. Tim earned a Masters Degree in Engineering Management from Ohio University.
Tim worked as a computer software developer.
He was a member of St . Mary Catholic Church in Lorain where he served mass and went to grade school. He enjoyed playing soccer.
He is survived by his wife of 3 ½ years Jennifer Henthorn (nee Krueger), parents Larry & Diane Henthorn (nee Wilczynski) of Hillsboro, OH, maternal grandmother Dorothy Wilczynski (nee Nowicki) of Lorain and paternal grandmother Margaret Frederick (nee Malone) of West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Anthony Wilczynski, paternal grandfather Robert Henthorn and paternal step grandfather Gene Frederick.
The family will receive friends Sunday 4-8 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 310 8th St, Lorain. The Rev. Daniel Divis, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
