SHEFFIELD VILLAGE - Vivian C. Urig (nee: Renner) 84, of Sheffield Village passed away Saturday February 18, 2012 at The New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain following a short illness.
She was born April 11, 1927 in Lorain. Vivian was the Sheffield Village Hall secretary for many years. Her greatest love was spending time with family and friends. Vivian was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Sheffield Village and the church's Altar and Rosary Society; she was a life member of V.F.W. Post #1079 in Elyria and a member of Amvets Post# 55 of Sheffield Lake. Vivian also enjoyed dancing and playing bingo.
Survivors include two daughters; Cathy E. Ware (Dave) of Sheffield Lake, Debra A. Frederick (Tim) of Lorain. Additional survivors include two grandchildren; Melissa Hubbard and Scott Urig, four great grandchildren, a sister; Wanda Ralston of Lorain.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years; Norman E., a son; Tim Urig (Jan), her parents; Karl and Pearl (nee: Rosenkranz) Renner, two sisters; Mary Lou Futrall, Elaine Renner, and four brothers; "Dick", Jack, Bob, and Jim Renner. She was also preceded in death by her fiancé' Steve Kotai.

(at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where closing prayers will be at 9:30 AM Thursday. Funeral Mass 10:00 AM Thursday February 23, 2012 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church 1878 Abbe Rd. Sheffield Village, OH. Rev. Fr. Edward J. Smith, Pastor will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Teresa of Avila Cemetery, Sheffield Village.
