Gayle Marie Kasper
ELYRIA - Gayle Marie Kasper (nee: Raffath) 66, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 5, 2014 at University Hospitals of Elyria. She was born March 16, 1948 in Lorain, and was an Admiral King High School graduate. Gayle was the Director of Little People's Palace Daycare in Lorain. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Gayle enjoyed singing in the St. Jude Church Choir and Sweet Adeline's. She also like to travel.
Survivors include a daughter; Cheryl J. Fridenstine (Chip) of Oberlin, two sons; Dennis M. Kasper (Charise) of Medina, Eric J. Kasper (Katie) of Elyria. Additional survivors include seven grandchildren; Hannah, Alexander, Elizabeth, Gabriel, Alayna, Henry, Ella, and her former husband; James Kasper of Grafton.
Gayle was preceded in death by her parents; Earl and Frances (nee: Grubic) Raffath, and a sister; Jean Raffath.
Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Wednesday April 9, 2014 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Thursday April 10, 2014 at St. Jude Church 590 Poplar St. Elyria, OH 44035. Rev. Fr. Frank P. Kosem, Pastor will be the Celebrant. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Burial will be private at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
