Kathryn Virginia Ward
BERLIN HEIGHTS – Kathryn Virginia Ward (nee Mills), 82, of Berlin Heights, died Thursday, May 1, 2014 at New Life Hospice after a short illness.
Kathryn was born May 20, 1931 in Riverscene, WV and has been a Berlin Heights resident for the past 54 years.
She had attended Lakeview Baptist Church, Vermilion and enjoyed computers, reading and flower and vegetable gardening.
She is survived by her sons, Donald (Yvonne) Ward Jr. of Berlin Heights, Paul (Deborah) Ward of Berlin Heights, Delbert (Darlene) Ward of Wakeman, and Gary Ward of Berlin Heights; daughter-in-law, Jean Ward of Berlin Heights; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Ward in 2002; son, Jay Ward; parents, Rapheal and Mary Elizabeth (nee Donnellan) Mills; brothers, Steven Mills, Michael Mills, and Robert Mills; and sisters, Louise Tangari and Roberta Cupples.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 10:00 am until 12 Noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. Funeral services will follow on Monday at 1:00 pm. Father Daniel Divis will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
