Frances "Foozie" Eileen Frank
AVON LAKE – Frances "Foozie" Eileen Frank (nee Coughlin), 69 of Avon Lake passed away, Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at her home following a five year battle with cancer. Foozie was born March 17, 1945 in Charlestown, South Carolina.
She was a teacher for 36 years at St. Joseph School, Amherst and a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake.
Foozie is survived by her husband of 39 years, Richard, whom she married, April 19, 1975, other survivors include children Mary Anne Frank of Avon Lake and Jon Frank (Sara) of Macedonia, as well as grandchildren Madeline Shea and Charles Thomas. She is also survived by siblings Bill Coughlin( Evelyn) of Natick, MA, Frank Coughlin (Sheryl) of Avon Lake, Michael Coughlin of Sheffield Lake and Mariam Leen (Harry) of Jacksonville, FL.
She is preceded in death by son Joseph, mother Frances K. (nee Farrington) in 2004, father Bill Coughlin in 2014, brother Thomas Coughlin and nephew Brian Coughlin.
Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Rd., Avon, Friday, June 20 from 6:00-8:00pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Rd., Avon Lake, Saturday at 10:00am. Fr. Ron Wearsch of the Church will officiate. Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Garden. 440-933-3202
