Tim "T.C." Craig Obituary
Tim "T.C." Craig
LORAIN – Tim "T.C." Craig, age 62, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 19, 2014.
He was born on September 2, 1951, in Lorain, where he lived his entire life. He was a graduate of Admiral King High School and then attended Lorain County Community College, running cross country for both schools. Tim proudly served in the United States Navy, and was based out of Pensicola, FL during his time enlisted. He was employed by Pepsi Cola, as a truck driver, for over 35 years. He had also worked part-time for The Range at Avon, which closed in 2007.
Tim was a loving husband, companion, and best friend to his wife, JoAnne. He was also an excellent father. He took great pride in the fact that he and his wife followed their children throughout their high school and college years of golfing, never missing a single tournament. Besides being with his family, he also enjoyed fishing and playing with his grand-dog, "Rigby."
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, JoAnne (nee Plaso), his son, Adam (Erin) Craig, of Findlay, OH, and his daughter, Erin Craig, of Lorain. He was so excited to become a grandpa and was looking very forward to the birth of his first grandchild, Luke, who is due to arrive this September. Tim is also survived by his brother, Barry A. (Jennifer) Craig, of Lorain, stepbrother, Donn Worthen, of Lorain, stepsister, Becky Worthen, of Toledo, and his mother-in-law, Mary Plaso, of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by his parents; James H. and Dorothy (nee Worthen) Craig.
The family will receive friends for a graveside service and military honors, on Friday, June 27, 2014, at 2:00 pm, at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp. Please meet at the front entrance of the cemetery before 2:00 pm. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling arrangements.
