Russell "Butch" Miller III|
LORAIN – Russell "Butch" Miller III, 62, of Lorain, Ohio passed away Wednesday July 23, 2014 in Mercy Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.
Russell was born July 19, 1952 in Bluefield, West Virginia and had lived in Lorain for 44 years. He graduated from Bluefield High school where he ran track, and set new school records that yet remain unbroken. Russell worked at General Industries in Elyria, OH. He was an avid Cavs and Kansas City Chief fan, and he also enjoyed fishing, gardening, and playing dominos.
Russell will be sadly missed by his son Warren Howard of Lorain, step-children Larry Simmons, Denita Simmons, Shannon Simmon; companion Antoinette Simmons; sisters Brenda Eaves of Bluefield., WV, and Gwen Nunnally of Lorain, and a brother Charles Miller of Cleveland, special friend Marina Barnett; many nieces and nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents Russell Jr. and Mable (nee Manns) Miller, two granddaughters Dominique, and Monique Howard, sister Peola Hester-Miller; brother Donald K. Miller; maternal and parental grandparents Russell Sr. and Evelyn Miller.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 28, 2014 from 10:00AM - 12:00PM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway in Lorain, Ohio. Graveside Services will be Monday, July 28, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Road, Avon Ohio 44011 with Reverend Kenny Dawson, officiating.
