LOUISVILLE, KY – Anthony Joseph (Blow Fly) Thomas, 50 of Louisville, KY formally of Lorain past away peacefully in his home August 9, 2014 surrounded by his loving wife.
He was born in Elyria moving to Kentucky one year ago from Stone Mountain, GA.
A graduate of Admiral King High School class of 1982. He obtained his Associate degree at Remington College in North Olmsted and a Bachelor degree at Devry University in computer science. He worked at Quaker Steak and Lube as a cook and he was a certified mechanic. He attended Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. His hobbies were cooking, music and collecting hot wheel cars.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 5 years, Kriyska N. nee Pinkston of Louisville, KY. Children, Mari Anne Thomas of Columbus, OH, Anthony, Eddie and Nichole Phillips, all of Lorain. A loving stepson, Isayha D' Vaun of Louisville. Stepdaughter, Rindy Hurt of Lorain. Stepmother, Fannie N. Thomas of Lorain. Twelve grandchildren. Brothers, Eddie Thomas of Stone Mountain, GA, Jermaine Thomas of Covington, GA, Lamont and Clarence Thomas of Lorain. Sisters, Helen Nelson of Elyria, Michelle White and Lisa, both of Cleveland and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Mari Anne Thomas, maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 3001 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, OH. The Reverend Dr. Peter Tower will give words of comfort.
