AMHERST - Judith Mae Mlinarik, age 77, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at Kingston of Vermilion.|
She was born February 9, 1937, in Lorain. Judy was raised in Amherst, graduating with the class of 1955 from Central High School, in Amherst.
She was employed as a secretary at A. Nabakowski Company, in Amherst, as well as a billing clerk at Amherst Hospital. Judy was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Amherst. She was an avid Cleveland Sports fan and loved going to antique shops. Judy loved attending family gatherings and cherished the time spend with friends.
Survivors include her brothers and their wives, John D. and Millie Mlinarik of Amherst, Richard D. and Wanda Mlinarik of Bowling Green; her sister and her husband, Ruth and Jack King of Alexandria, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Susan"Sue" Jurczynski, Marie Galusha, Margaret "Millie" Gilles; and her parents, John and Suzanna Mlinarik (nee: Madas).
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at the Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, at the funeral home. The Rev. Terrance Adamson, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
