Nathan Eden Obituary

SHEFFIELD TOWNSHIP– Nathan A. "Nate" Eden, 60, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at his home.
Nate was born on July 23, 1951 in Lorain, OH to his parents Obert and Mary V. (nee: Taylor) Eden. Nate graduated from Elyria High School, Class of 1969. He enlisted in the National Guard in November 1969 and was Honorably discharged in November 1975. He later returned to school, earning his State of Ohio Mechanics Training from LCCC in 1975. He worked with US Steel from 1970-1997, PC Campana from 2007-2012 and owned several small businesses over the years. He was a life-member at the American Legion in Wellington, OH. He enjoyed go-carts, NASCAR, working on small engines and taking care of his myriad of pets.
He is survived by his brother, Melvin Eden; children, Jennifer and Eric; grandsons, Zachary, Brett and Nick; companion, Judy Poulton; and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary V. Eden; and sister-in-law, Karen Eden.
The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH (440)244-1961 on Wednesday, June 13th from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Thursday, June 14th at 1:30 PM. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain, OH.
