WAKEMAN - Lillian N. Boozer, age 80, of Wakeman, died Monday December 31, 2012 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. She was born on July 31, 1932 in Pennsylvania and has lived in Wakeman for the last 15 years, having moved here from the Olmsted Falls area. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Linda (John) Skrada, of Wakeman, Glenda (Matt) Saksa, of Indianapolis, IN, Steve (Elizabeth "Ann") Boozer, of Wellington, Rick (Yvonne) Boozer, of Wakeman, Dave (Tina) Boozer, of Schellsburg, PA, and Stanley (Rhonda) Boozer, of North Ridgeville, sisters, Helen (Gene) Beck, of Grafton, Mary Lou (Alan) Shoaf, of Maricopa, AZ, and Nancy Thomas, of North Eaton, brothers Michael and Roger Thomas, both of North Eaton, 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ward Boozer, her parents Charles and Nellie (Snyder) Beard, and three sisters Pearl, Ruby, and Patricia, a brother Samuel Beard. Friends may call on Thursday January 3, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper St., Wakeman, where services will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Wakeman Cemetery.
