Thomas P. Kaliszewski 75, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly Sunday February 3, 2013 at Metro General Hospital in Cleveland. He was born August 31, 1937 in Lorain, OH. Thomas was a Clearview High School graduate and had served in The Ohio Army National Guard with Company B 1st BN 145th Infantry. He was an engineering and operations manager at Duffin Mfg. retiring in 1999 following thirty years of service. Thomas was a member of St. Jude Church, and the Elyria United Polish Club. Family was always first for him; he enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening and The Ohio State University sports. Survivors include his wife of fifty years; Mary Ann (nee: Antkowiak), a daughter; Mary Sue Kaliszewski (Bill Cassarly) of Wooster, OH., a son; Thomas S. Kaliszewski (Lori) of Rochester Hills, MI. Additional survivors include three grandchildren; Thomas, Lauren, and Jared, three sisters; Georgene Kochan (the late Jakub) of Greenville, SC., Marjorie Ilcisko (the late John) of Lorain, Norma Dombroski (Kenneth) of Strongsville, and a brother; Leo R. Kaliszewski (Loretta) of Avon Lake,OH. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; Leo Kaliszewski and Norma Kaliszewski Field (nee: Goldsmith).
