Paul Stanley Bouchonville

1956 - 2013 | Obituary Condolences
Paul Stanley Bouchonville
Paul Stanley Bouchonville, 56, passed from this world into Eternal Paradise on March 25, 2013. His beloved wife Sharon and cherished daughter Connie were by his side.
Paul believed in Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, and it was that faith that sustained him through his long battle with lung cancer. As God's Word says in II Timothy 4:7 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."
Paul was born on May 6, 1956, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Later, he moved with his family to Lorain County, where he graduated from Oberlin High School in 1975. He married Sharon (Edwards) Bouchonville on August 18, 1988. He and Sharon lived in Oberlin, Ohio for several years before moving to Salesville, Ohio in 2007. Recently, they moved back to Lorain County to be closer to their families.
Paul spent many years working as an oiler on various steamships on the Great Lakes for the Oglebay Norton Company. Previously, he had worked at Ridge Tool Company in Elyria. Paul loved attending tractor shows, and buying and restoring antique tractors and steam traction engines. He was a former member of the Lagrange Engine Club. He also enjoyed gardening and preserving the produce from his garden.
Besides his wife, Paul is survived by two daughters, Connie Jenkins, and Judy Jones; a stepson, Dylan Edwards; brothers Philip (Dawn), Andrew (Evelyn), and Matthew (Rose); sisters Patricia (David) Targett, Kathy Rich, and Mary (John) Rich; ten grandchildren; many aunts and uncles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Paul S. Bouchonville II, in 1999; his parents, Raymond and Dorothy Bouchonville; and brothers Mark (Debbie) and Michael.
Memorial contributions may be made to: HMC Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina, OH 44256.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.
