LORAIN - Steven D. Wooten, age 40 and a long-time resident of Lorain, passed away at his residence on Monday, July 8, 2013.
He was born in Marion, Indiana, July 7, 2013, to the late Virgil and Wilma (nee Wine) Wooten. In the past, Steven was a taxi cab driver and was employed at Wal-Mart, Strongsville. He especially enjoyed going to Lakeview Beach to go swimming and rock climbing.
Survivors include seven brothers; Chuck, Cecil, Roger, Ralph, Jeff, and John Skinner, Randall Wooten; four sisters; Kimberly Wooten, Debbie McKiel, Loretta Ortiz, Belinda Beavans, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Reeves.
There will be a Wednesday, 5 p.m., memorial service at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home Alternatives, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
