LORAIN - Ana "Magaly" Sandoval, 75, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013.
Magaly was born February 22, 1938 in Santurce, Puerto Rico. She came to Lorain in the early 1950's. Magaly worked for many years at Green Circle Growers and Gel Pak Co. in Lorain. She was a member of the Puerto Rican Home, Lorain. She enjoyed playing bingo and was an excellent cook. Magaly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by hers sons Luciano (Cathy) Vasquez and Eduardo (Aida) Vasquez both of Lorain and Gabriel (Tammy) Vasquez of Florida; daughter-in-law Mary Vasquez of Shelbyville, Kentucky; sister Rosa Cespedes of Lorain and Domingo Rodriguez of Florida; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and a special niece Rosa Ammons of Lorain.
Magaly was preceded in death by her husband Luciano Vasquez, Sr. in 1964; parents Reymundo Rodriguez and Florentina Ocacio; son Esteban "Steve" Vasquez; sister Maria Rodriguez and a dear companion of many years David Martinez.
Her family will receive friends Friday (Today) from 4 until time of her funeral service at 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain.
