OBERLIN - Elizabeth Hubbard, age 86, of Oberlin, formerly of Lorain, died on September 11, 2013 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin.
She was born on August 13, 1927 in Sebring, Ohio. She had lived in Lorain for 30 years before moving to Oberlin in 2005. She ran a bookstand at Jaime's Flea Market for 25 years. She loved music and sang opera at Mt. Union College as a girl. Elizabeth also enjoyed playing cards, reading and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Richard) Bozicevich, of Elyria, Yvonne Wainwright, of Salem, Ohio, Deborah (Don) Ortner, of Oberlin, Harold Hubbard, of Elyria; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Harold; her parents Peter and Elizabeth (Papp) Zorlenzan; sisters, Eleanor and Lucretia; and brothers Olympia, Steve, and Peter.
Friends may call on Monday, September 16 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst.
