1937 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
LORAIN - Clarence White, 76, of Lorain, passed away January 9, 2014, in New Life Hospice Center of Lorain following a lengthy illness.
Mr. White was born April 18, 1937, in Mayberry, West Virginia, and had lived in Lorain since 1958.
Clarence served in U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of New Apostolic Church of Lorain, where he served as Sub-Deacon. He worked at various factories as an electrician, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He will be sadly missed by his son, Jerry White Sr. of Lorain; three grandchildren, Jerry White Jr., Carl E. White and Allura White; four great-grandchildren; brother, William Thomas White of Virginia; sisters, Deloris (Harris) Daniel of Lorain and Beverly Solomon of Michigan; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his wife, Allene White; parents, James and Enolar White; brother, John Henry White; and sisters, Eliazebth Jackson, Dora Bell Jackson, Angeline William-Paige and Arvadella Robinson.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16, 2014, from 11 until the time of services at noon at New Apostolic Church, 3929 Leavitt Road, Lorain, with Pastor Jeff Sandrock officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
