Pastor Mckinley Hammond

LORAIN - Pastor Mckinley Hammond, 70, of Lorain, Ohio died Saturday March 1, 2014 in Mercy Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.
Pastor Hammond was born August 27 1943 in Tylertown, Miss. and had lived in the Lorain area since 1973.
He was US. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He retired from the Avon Ford Plant after 32 years of services.
He was the Pastor of Pentecostal Church of God in Lorain.
He enjoyed playing the guitar.
Pastor Hammond will be sadly missed by his wife of 47years Gloria (nee Sutton) Hammond of Lorain, daughter Rita R. Grey of Indianapolis, IN, son Patrick L. Hammond of Toledo, OH; 3 grandchildren ; brothers Rick Stevens, Louis Stevens, J.L. Stevens, and two sisters Shirley Temple, and Vera Lately many nieces and nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Pastor Hammons was preceded in death by his parents Mckinley Sr., and Hazel (nee Smith) Hammond, two brothers, and two sisters.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway in Lorain, Ohio.
Burial will be Monday March 10, 2014 in South Spring Hill Cemetery in Mississippi.
