Amos Hattery Obituary
Amos Hattery, age 31, of Alma, passed away suddenly Monday, April 16, 2012 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center Gratiot.
Funeral services for Amos will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 21st at Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma, with Pastor Carl Cecil officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the Family for a memorial to be designated later.
Amos was born January 10, 1981 in Alma the son of Tim and Melody (Peak) Hattery. He graduated from Alma High School in 2000 and was a lineman on the Alma High School Varsity Football Team. He worked for Bear Truss for a short time and also for Ithaca Coatings for a few years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing pool in the Men's BCA league with his team "Eight Ball Mafia". Amos was also a member of the St. Louis Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his mother, Melody Hattery of Alma, brother, Cary Lee (Charlie Nuss) Hattery of New York City, fiancee and soul mate, Tammy Parker and her children, Justin Carll and Kaelani Carll all of Alma, paternal grandmother, Barb Hattery and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Amos was preceded in death by his father Tim Hattery, paternal grandparents, Cliff and Stella Hattery and maternal grandparents, Virgil and Florence Peak.

Amos, we will all miss you very much.... you will always be in our thoughts and prayers.... You will never be forgotten by any of your friends or family....Amos always knew how to make my family laugh when he came to my house... He was a very great guy and a sweetheart... I could not imagine going through your loss. Amos will be sadly missed . When he would walk thru here in the am's, I would see him and say "Hey AMos, whats up:)"Its just weird not seeing him around here. If any of you need us we are here.
