Kenneth J. Cambers Obituary
Liberal, Mo. - Kenneth J. (Kracker) Cambers, 75, of Liberal, Missouri died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Mercy Hospital at Joplin, Missouri. Mr. Cambers was born November 2, 1943 at Vernon County, Missouri the son of L.A. (Preach) and Lena O. Spurling Cambers.
Kenneth had worked for Bill's Coal Company as a coal miner, did farming, and later retired from Dayco in Ft. Scott, Kansas. He was raised in Arcadia and graduated from Arcadia High School. He was a member of the Girard Masonic Lodge #93. Survivors include a daughter, Kendra (Karl) Zafuta of Frontenac, a son, Kevin (Jeannie) Cambers of Neosho, Missouri, grandchildren, Ryan, Nick, and Karlie Zafuta, and Kortney and Bryce Cambers, a great grandson, Jett Zafuta, a sister, Helen Green of Wellsville, Kansas, and two brothers, Bill (Phyllis) Cambers of Arizona and Gary Cambers of Liberal, Missouri.
Funeral services will be at 10 A.M. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma, Kansas. Burial will be at the Sheffield Cemetery near Arcadia, Kansas. Friends may call 1 to 4 P.M. Friday at the Bedene Chapel. The family suggests memorials to the Mirza Shrine
Transportation Fund. Donations may be sent to or left at the Bedene Funeral
