Paul Allen Chubb Obituary
Paul Allen Chubb of Grove passed from this life on July 17, 2014 at the age of 82. Mr. Chubb was born on March 16, 1932 to Earl Dewayne Chubb and Clara Meyers Chubb in Lemon, South Dakota. Paul was raised in Pittsburg, Kansas, graduated high school from College High in Pittsburg, married his loving wife Ruby and raised his family in Pittsburg as well. Mr. Chubb was a veteran of the United States Navy as well as a Gideon. Paul helped to distribute bibles to the local school systems. He also produced a show which went nationwide on PBS broadcasting called "The Inspiration of Painting". Paul was previous owner of Radio Shack in Grove from, 1975 to 1988 and also the Wolf Creek Plaza, but Paul's love was his children's ministry at the Cornerstone Church where he was a member and performed puppet shows and was a clown for the children for over twenty-five years.

Paul is survived by one son, Kirk Chubb and wife Melinda of Gravette, Arkansas and one daughter, Vickie Wilson and husband, Barry; of Grove, one brother, Bob Chubb of Grove. Paul is also survived by five grandchildren, Jamie, Kelly, Shawn, Nicholas and Brian, nine great grandchildren, Roland, Alexia, Luke, Malachi, Jonathan, Porter, Ryan, Carter and Madelin, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Paul was preceded in death by wife Ruby in 1986, brothers, Dewayne and Jack Chubb, great-grandson Samuel Kramer, great-granddaughter Faith Kramer and his parents Earl and Clara.

Services will be held Tuesday, July 22, at 11:00 a.m., at Cornerstone Church, Grove, with a Graveside Committal service at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kansas at 3:30 p.m. with Shawn Chubb, Nicholas Chubb, Brian Chubb, Rance Kitlen, Randy Stauss, Dana Carbone, Charles Miller and Joe Niehus serving as pallbearers. Pastor Allen Parker will be officiating with Mark Gamber assisting. Visitation will be held Monday, July 21, from 6-8, Grand Lake Funeral Home in Grove, located at 722 N. 46th Street, (918) 787-2444.
