Norma (Wilkins) Cramer Obituary
Norma Cramer, 76 of Frontenac died at 3:28 p.m. Thursday February 13, 2014 at the Medicalodge South Nursing Home in Pittsburg.
She was born October 12, 1937 in Cedar County, MO the daughter of Perry Earl and Hazel Marie (McCallister) Wilkins.
Norma lived in the Pittsburg/Frontenac area her entire life. She was a 1955 graduate of Pittsburg High School. She also attended school training for becoming a nurses and medical aide.
She worked as a cook for The Grill and in her later years worked in various nursing homes as a nurse's aide.
Norma was an avid crafter; she enjoyed painting, plaster casting and knitting. She loved family gatherings where they enjoyed singing.
Survivors include a daughter Ginger Scott of Pittsburg; a brother Melvin P. Wilkins of Newberg, MO; four grandchildren Jason, Eric and Audrey Green ad Frankie Scott Jr.; four Great-grandchildren Tory Snyder, Joseph Jr. and Carlin Tardiff and Mason Lee Scott a daughter in-law Lynda Cramer of Vancouver, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Travis Earl Cramer, a brother Marshel J. Wilkins and a sister Karen Wilkins.
According to family's wishes Norma has been taken for cremation. Memorial graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday February 21, 2014 at the Hall Cemetery in Jericho Springs, MO with Retired Reverend Wayne Shurley officiating. Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Tuesday February 18th at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home.
