Larry L. Stafford, 77, of Morris, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Morris Hospital. Born February 14, 1941 in Morris, he was the son of the late Ernest Woodrow and Elsie E. (Buckler) Stafford.

Larry graduated from Morris Community High School with the Class of 1959. He proudly served with the United States Army from 1959-62.

He married Judith "Judy" Wilson on September 23, 1963. Larry was a painter with Local Union 33. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing, and cutting wood. He enjoyed spending time at Lazy Acres and being with his friends. Larry loved following his son's music career and his daughter's accomplishments in her nursing career.

Larry was a past Master of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the Morris Moose Lodge #967 and Fraternal Order of Eagles #1024.

Survived by his wife, Judy; son, James "Jimmy" (Lindsay) Stafford of Brentwood, TN and their children, McKenna, Emma, and Myla; and daughter, Dana Stafford of Morris and her children, Keegan and Kiana Anderson and Olivia Schnee.

He was preceded by his parents, Ernest "Woody" and Elsie.

Visitation will be held 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the U.C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home. Enhanced video tributes will be played during the visitation. Masonic services will take place following the visitation at 7:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Larry's Life will be Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Larson of the First Baptist Church of Morris officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with military honors presented by the Morris Color Guard.

Preferred memorials in Larry's name may be made to a recipient of the donor's choice.
