Zollie F. Pauley, age 93 of Mount Gilead, died Wednesday evening October 23, 2013 at Bennington Glen Nursing Center, Marengo.
She was born on April 10, 1920 in Madison, WV to the late Smith and Lou Emma (Griffith) Brown. She was a homemaker and volunteered at Sage in Grandview. Zollie loved her family and treasured the time spent with them. She was fond of cats and loved her cars, a Chevy Corvair, Dodge Charger and Pontiac Firebird.
She is survived by son: Ralph Pauley of Marengo; daughter: Janie Perry of Madison, WV; daughter-in-law: Janice Pauley of Centerburg; 7 grandchildren: John, Christy, Diana, Teresa, Brian, Jason, Tammy; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James Pauley in 1967; sisters: Opal, Delphi, Alfi, Gay; son John; daughter-in-law: Barbara Pauley; grandchildren: James and Ugel Jr.
Graveside services will be held Monday 11 a.m. in the Green Lawn Cemetery with Chaplain Bruce Benzing officiating.
Arrangements entrusted to the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury.
