Lagos, Judy - Mount Gilead  
Judy R. Lagos, age 69, of Mount Gilead, passed away Wednesday morning, May 27, 2015, at her residence. On October 5, 1945, Judy was born in Marion, OH, the daughter of the late Robert E. and Lois K. (Hans) Williams. She graduated from Marion Harding High School in the Class of 1963. For many years, she was employed at the Marion Power Shovel Company as a checker. She also worked as a waitress and cook at The Leaf Restaurant in Mount Gilead. Judy loved shopping, especially for purses, and enjoyed cooking. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Jamie (Frederick) Bates, of Greenville, SC; her sister, Deborah (Boomer Lewis) Glenn of Marion; two nephews: Robert (Adrienne) Glenn of Worthington, Jason Glenn of Marion; a niece, Amy Glenn of Marion; and two great nieces and nephews. Per Judy's wishes, no services will be held. Ludwig, Howard - Cardington  
Howard E. "Rube" Ludwig, age 85, of Cardington died Wednesday afternoon May 20, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Blacklick, Ohio on June 7, 1929 to the late Herman and Marjorie (Lightfoot) Ludwig. Howard worked for and retired from the Highland Local Schools as their head custodian, spending 13 years at the West Elementary Building. He also worked as a crane operator and laborer for Pittsburgh Plate and Glass in Mt. Vernon. He was a member of the Morrow County Antique Tractor and Equipment Association and attended the Stantontown Advent Christian Union Church. Howard enjoyed raising show chickens and hunting in his younger days. Always smiling, he will be remembered for his ornery spirit. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he always put his wife and children's needs before his own. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Juanita Mae (McQuistion) Ludwig, on August 9, 1952; Son: Danny Ludwig of Cardington; Daughters: Diane Pennington of Cardington, Theresa (Kevin) Wakely of Marion, Tami (Dave Shilt) Ludwig of Cardington, Marie Ludwig of Cardington, and Anita (Todd Quibell) Ludwig of Cardington; 9 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild; Sister: Patty Feasel of Sunbury. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Grandchild: Randy; Brothers: Robert, Edward, Dick Ludwig; Canine Companion: Hopper. The family will greet friends Sunday, May 24 from 2–5 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at SR 61, Sunbury, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ricky McQuistion officiating. Burial will follow in the Fulton Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Morrow County Hospice, 228 South Street, Mount Gilead, Ohio 43338.
