Glen "Sonny" Agin

Glen A. 'Sonny' Agin, 66, of Butler passed away Sunday evening November 18, 2012 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.

Glen was born December 31, 1945 in Mansfield the son of Glen A. and Ann (Stanley) Agin.

Sonny worked for the City of Mansfield‚s Sanitation Department and recently retired from Whetstone Industries in Mt. Gilead.

Glen was a faithful Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. A real man‚s man, he enjoyed old western movies and loved sports. Glen had a great sense of humor. Loving and giving, he was always there to help family and friends.

He is survived by his sister Sandy Ward of Butler and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents Glen A. Agin, Sr., and Ann Dunham; siblings Janice Freitchen, Doris Agin, Arden Dysert, Beverly Goon, and Sharon Dickerson.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 23, 2012 from 10 am-12 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home where funeral services will begin at 12pm. Pastor Patrick Bailey will officiate and burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Ohio Area Agency on Aging and may be made through the funeral home.
