In Loving Memory

The Great Depression Eliza E. Epperson & Samuel J. Scribner was blessed with their youngest child on September 11th, 1925.

Margie "Scribner" Orten was blessed with 7 siblings that loved her so dear; Emma, Lee, Harvey, Bill, Hearn, Goldie & Sam.

She lived on a farm until she was 17 years old.

From there she worked at the Cornerstone Café in Mt. Gilead, Ohio until her occupation changed to Peco II in Galion, Ohio, she retired at the age of 65.

Her favorite passed time was reading novels by Danielle Steel & Nora Roberts. She also loved reading the newspaper for the funnies! Fishing was her outdoor sport, only to watch her grandchildren smile. Margie has a heart of gold, she spread joy to family and friends, and she kept in contact with so many more, her favorite season was Christmas for she always sent Christmas cards yearly.

Married to Gale Daniel Strong for 17 years, Dec. 27th 1942; then remarried Edward Edwin Orten for 2 years, May 8th 1971. May of 1976 Margie found her lifelong partner, Kenneth Leroy Franks, for the remainder of his life, March 9th 2010. Heavenly joined. November 28th 2012. She lived 87 prosperous years.

Blessed with 2 children by Gale Daniel Strong; Harvey Daniel & Patricia-Ann Strong.

Blessed with 10 grandchildren; Bonita January, Chrissy Bernhard, Jamie, Sharma, J.J. Logan, Trisha Hadberg, Manuel Quezada, Theresa Wuicik, Tomeka Bivens, & Lisa "Strong" Louis.

Blessed with 26 great-grandchildren; Billy, Roxanne, (Bonita & Bill) Cami, Beth, Mike, Jessica, (Chrissy & Marty) Brittney, (Jamie Logan) Matt, Amber, Alyssa, Gage, Jacquelyn, Nathanael, (Trisha & Gregory) Cody, Katie, Joey, Jimmy, Jillan, Jenna, (Manuel & Angie) Makayla, Olivia, (Theresa & Michael) TY, Treven Jai, (Tomeka & Mike) Jacqueline, Jeffery, & Cassandra (Danielle),(Lisa "Strong" Louis)

Blessed with 8 great-great grandchildren; Kelson, Josie, Allie, Jayce, Andrew, Baylee, Makili, & Addison.

Blessed with children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, her love grows inside of each and everyone of us, only her body has passed but her spirit and legacy will live forever. We all will miss you and look forward to meeting you again in God's Heavenly Kingdom.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Snyder Funeral Home, 76 S. Main St., Mount Gilead from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon; Memorial services will follow at 12 Noon.
