Brian Richard Cook was born on December 20, 1957 in Mt. Gilead, Ohio to Doyle and Ruthetta Cook. Brian grew up outside of Columbus in Cardington, Ohio and graduated from Cardington High School in 1976.

After graduation from high school, Brian started his beautiful family. Brian and his family moved to Tulsa in pursuit of work in 1981. Even though Brian moved to Oklahoma, he remained a true Ohio State Buckeye. While working for Oil Dynamics, Brian continued his education and became a Tulsa Police Officer in 1986. Brian was a quiet man in words alone, but lived his life full of adventure, cherished the time he spent with Cindy, and deeply loved his family. Brian devoted his life to his service as a Tulsa Police Officer and proudly served the Tulsa Police Department for 28 years. Brian's strength and courage touched many people's lives during his tenure.

Brian was a loving father to four children, Angela, Doug, Tyler and Craig. He had 9 Grandchildren Braden, Teagon, Maybree, Sutton, Luke, Olivia, Kristi, Christian and Abbie who he loved greatly. He is also survived by three brothers, Wayne, Larry and Milton.

Brian will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
