Debbie Lawrence

Debbie Lawrence, age 57, of Waldo, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus surrounded by her family and friends.

Debbie was born on June 12, 1955 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Lloyd Willis and Grace (Foster) Smith. Debbie spent many years working at the Marrow Manor Nursing Home serving there as an STNA. On November 17, 2002, Debbie was united in marriage to Brian M. Lawrence in Stowe, Vermont.

Those who knew Debbie will fondly remember her for her love of traveling the United States, the enjoyment she got from reading and keeping up with friends on Facebook. Most of all, she will be remembered for her undying love of family. She was a very proud grandmother and great grandmother and her family was her pride and joy in life.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Brian M. Lawrence; her children: Rita Ann (Jason) Webb and Rick Allen (Pam) Clark, Jr.; Step-children: Katrina (Michael) Lawrence and Steven (Jen) Lawrence; grandchildren: Terry (Britney) Webb, Ashlynn Webb, Hope Clark and Faith Clark; a great grandson Mason Webb and a sister Mary (Mike) Sheline.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Snyder Funeral Home, 76 South Main St., Mt. Gilead from 5 pm to 7 pm; Funeral services will be held Saturday at the funeral home at 2 pm with Pastor Paul Staton officiating. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery.

If so desired, donations may be made to the American Kidney Association.
