Mary Louise Vipperman, age 80, of Cardington, passed away on Saturday evening, March 22, 2014 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
Mary was born on October 7, 1933 in Delaware, the daughter of Albert E. and Imo "Peg" A. (Foust) Kidwell. She received her education in the Chesterville school district.
Mary was a dedicated homemaker and she also served as a secretary for the American Red Cross, retiring with over 20 years of service.
Mary enjoyed animals of all kinds, especially dogs and horses. She delighted in her flowers and loved to unwind with a glass of iced tea and a cigarette.
She is survived by her loving children: Steven (Kelley) Kidwell, Christy (John) Dailey, Jim Vipperman and Glenn (Chris) Vipperman; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and siblings: Janet Smith, Margie Chilcote and Sarah Jane Davis.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents and her favorite ex-husband Dave Vipperman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, 67 North Main St., from 5PM to 8PM; those wishing to celebrate Mary's life with a favorite story are encouraged to do so starting at 8PM; Burial will be held at a later date privately with the family.
