Cathy Waldron

Cathy Sue Waldron, best known simply as "Cat", died peacefully Friday morning, August 30, 2013, at her home following a brief illness. She was 54 years old and from Marengo.

On December 27, 1958, Cathy was born in Morrow County Hospital in Mount Gilead, daughter of the late Luther and Dora (Staley) Rhinebolt.

Having a heart of gold, Cathy always did all she could to help her beloved family. She was a very loving and caring woman, who also wasn't afraid to express how she felt.

Cathy's favorite pastimes were reading anything she could get her hands on, and crocheting blankets for everyone in her family.

She will be dearly missed by her two sons: Ray (Sissy Johnson) White Sr. of Marengo; and Daniel (Grace) White of Galion; 8 grandchildren,1 great-grandchild, with one more great-grandchild on the way; her significant other of 19 years, David Matthews of Marengo; four sisters and two brothers: Nancy (Dennis) Brocklesby of Mount Gilead, David Swint of Marengo, Regena (Doug Nicol) Brooks of Marengo, Janet (Richard) Plummer of Mount Gilead, Tasha Rhinebolt of Youngstown, and Anthony (Maggie) Rhinebolt of Mansfield; an aunt, Betty Clay of Marengo; an uncle, Dick (Mildred) Hines of Marengo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Including her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel "Pete" White; second husband, Steven Waldron; and by her step mother, Marie Rhinebolt.

Services for Cathy will be observed privately by her family.
