Rebecca Sandoval Santoyo

Rebecca Sandoval Santoyo, 70, passed away on April 21, 2014. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 17, 1944 to Oscar and Helen Sandoval. Rebecca is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Andrade of Orlando, Margarita Caballero of Houston, and Roxana Blanco of Odessa. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Benjamin and Alexia Andrade, Anselina, Adelina, Ricardo and Alvina Caballero, and Sharmista and Sharlyann Blanco. Additionally, she is survived by four great-grandchildren, Faith, Destiny, Azrael and Noah. Rebecca attended St. Mary's Catholic Church for many years in Odessa and then upon moving in with her daughter's family in Midland, she was an active member at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. She spent time volunteering weekly at the Helping Hands organization in Midland as well. When the family moved to Houston three years ago, she continued her volunteer work at St. Mary Magdalene. Rebecca loved her religion and could often be heard singing praise and worship songs. A viewing will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home in Odessa. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday also at Frank W. Wilson. Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
