Brenda Jean Narvaiz, age 46, has gone home to be with our loving Savior, Jesus Christ; her father, Joe F. Narvaiz; and sister, Barbara Joy Mueller. She passed away early Saturday morning, at her San Antonio residence. On March 19, 1966, Brenda Jean was born to Joe Frank and Mary Narvaiz. She was raised in Odessa by Jesse and Lala Arredondo. She graduated high school, Class of '84, where she was an active member of the Pep Squad and Flag Team. She went on to complete two years of college. Brenda loved to read and journal, but she especially loved all genres of music. Brenda was the proud mother of four boys and blessed with five grandchildren. She spent a lot of her time with her ever growing family. Brenda was a loving and caring mother, aunt, and friend. She had the heart of a servant and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She would give you the shirt off her back if you allowed her to. She saw the best in everyone, no matter what walk of life they came from. Her heart and time was open to any and everyone. Brenda was a proud Mary Kay representative for several years, achieving numerous goals. She was a successful apartment manager and had worked for several complexes in the Midland / Odessa area, throughout her life. She had the privilege of managing the largest apartment complex, Lincoln Village, in San Antonio, TX. She was also a licensed Realtor. Brenda is preceded in death by her father, Joe F. Narvaiz; her grandfather, Pilar Arredondo; and her grandmother, Paula Arredondo. She is survived by her husband, Greg Reyes of Midland; four sons, Jeremy Narvaiz, of Odessa, TX and Terrance Lopez, Gregory Ray Reyes, and Brandon Reyes, all of Midland, TX; and her dear mother, Mary Narvaiz of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by her brother, Joe F. Narvaiz, Jr. of San Antonio, TX; her three sisters, Rachel N. Ramirez, of Midland, TX and Annette N. Sanchez and Debra N. Leyba, both of San Antonio, TX; five grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. Rosary will be tonight, at 7:00 p.m., at Heavenly Gate Chapel. A funeral mass is set for Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Funeral service is under the direction of Heavenly Gate Funeral Home.
