Walker Delores Ann Walker, 75, of Midland, died Sunday, June 8, 2014, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was home surrounded by her family. There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Delores was born July 21, 1938, in Pecos, Texas to the late James and Eunice (Long) Hamilton. She was a fun loving person who always placed others needs before hers. She will be deeply missed by many. She is survived by one son, Tom Walker and wife, Michele, of Garland; four grandchildren, Chandler Walker, Garrett Walker, Tye Orr and wife, Whitney, and Landi Roark and husband, Ian; four great grandchildren, Malone and Gavin Roark, and Logan and Ali Orr; six sisters, Louise White of Monahans, Lucille Tilley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jo Pattillo of Pecos, Doris Keplinger of Bourne, Wanda Hayes of Midland, Evelyn Conine of Midland; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Delores is preceded in death by one son, Sam Orr; and one brother, James Hamilton. The family suggest memorials be made to the
