Kerry Dan Tisdale, born June 29, 1962 in Kermit, Texas, passed away on March 23, 2015 in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. Dan spent most of his childhood in Odessa, Texas. He graduated from Temple High School and the University of Texas Permian Basin. He enjoyed over 20 years in the oil and gas industry, working for Burlington Resources (later ConocoPhillips.) Dan loved all sports, particularly golf and skiing, and had a lifelong passion for jeeps and motorcycles. Living in Cloudcroft since 2009, Dan was very active in community affairs. He proudly started the Moose Lodge 2700 there and held several officer positions within the Moose organization. Beloved by his family and friends, Dan will be remembered for his humor, compassion, and help whenever it was needed. He is survived by his parents, Helen and Barry; his wife, Gina; his son, Jay; his step-children, Raul and Christina; siblings, Mike (Sandy), Mark (Betty), and Jana (Don); five grandchildren; and 26 nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Cloudcroft United Methodist Church in New Mexico. Visitation with the family in Midland will be at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel (3800 N Big Spring) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015, with a graveside service to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park North at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored to have memorial donations made to the charity of your choice. Helen and Barry, I just heard about Dan. I am so, so sorry - and have you in my prayers. Burr and I both really liked him and am so happy your family touched our lives. I don't know how to contact you in Texas, so please feel free to call me in New Mexico. 575-987-2403. I am so sorry about his death, and wish he were still here. We will miss him alot.

To Dan's Family, We knew him through his generosity to BBBS of Otero County. He came into our offices with a check from the Moose Lodge. His kind heart extended to helping children in his Cloudcroft Community where BBBS serves. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to you.
