Linda Booth, 61, of Midland, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014. She was born Linda Carol Crooks on June 22, 1952 in Barnesville, Ohio, to Herman and Delores (Nicholes) Crooks. She graduated from high school in Beallsville, Ohio and attended some college at Ohio University after that. On November 23, 1973, Linda married the love of her life, Homer Booth, in Columbus, Ohio. Linda was a playful, affectionate, generous and steadfast wife; a loving and caring mother; as well as a devoted friend who was always willing to lend a helpful hand. Linda is survived by her husband of almost 41 years, Homer Booth; her daughter, Gwendolen McGowan; her brothers, Herman, Jr., Roger and David Crooks; her sisters, Phyllis Hagan and Bonnie Orum; and numerous friends and family who all loved and will miss her dearly.
