Martha Elba Garcia, 70, of Midland, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014 in Midland. A Rosary will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel. Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Midland. Martha was born on March 30, 1944, to Herlinda and Joaquin Canseco in Mexico City. Her studies and work were in Mexico City until she married and moved to the United States. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend to all who knew her. She loved music, flowers and everything beautiful about life. Although her loss will be deeply felt, she now watches over us all and will be forever in our hearts until we meet again. She is survived by her husband, Miguel Garcia; son, Michael Garcia and his wife, Shawna; son, Mark Garcia; daughter, Michelle Barcio and her husband, Bernard; sisters, Maria Eugenia Vargas and Herlinda Canseco; brother, Jorge Canseco; and grandchildren, Regina Barcio, Aaron Barcio, Amanda Burns, and Nicholas Garcia. Martha is preceded in death by her parents. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Garcia, Mark Garcia, Bernard Barcio, and Sergio Lango.
