On June 20, 2014, surrounded by her family, Ollie Bond took her well earned rest in the arms of her Savior. Ollie was born to Sam and Adella Williams on July 27, 1923, in Franklin, Texas. Later, she met and married E.J. Johnson in Bremond, Texas. To this union, one daughter, Willie Rene Johnson Cooper was born. The family moved to Midland, Texas. Later, Ollie married Ennis Cole, SR. The couple had one son, Ennis "Lee" Cole, Jr. After an extended stay in San Jose, California, Ollie moved back to Midland where she resided until the time of her death. Ollie was the proprietor of two local businesses; City Café and Big Mama's Daycare. She is survived by her daughter, Willie Rene Cooper, son-in-law Pete Cooper; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and loved ones. She also leaves her long time caregiver, Susanne Sullivan to cherish her memory. Ollie was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Adella Williams; her son Ennis "Lee" Cole, Jr.; three sisters and five brothers. A viewing will be held today from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home. Family will be receiving friends tonight from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. also at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home. Funeral service is set for Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
