Paul Hudson King of Aventura, Florida, passed away August 7, 2014 in the Hospice unit of St. Catherine West, Hialeah Gardens, Florida. Paul was born to MaryLou King Thompson and the late Jack Edison King in San Antonio, Texas, on July 31, 1950. His family moved to Midland, Texas, in 1953 when he was 3 years old. He lived in Midland until 1968 when he graduated from Lee High school. While in high school he became an Eagle Scout along with the Order of the Arrow. He remained active in scouting, and his church. He attended the University of Houston where he earned a degree in International Economics. After spending 3 months in Europe he attended the University of Texas and earned a degree in Accounting, acquired his CPA and joined Ernst and Ernst Accounting firm. He was transferred to Cleveland, Ohio and then to San Francisco where he began his own firm. He designed the computers and the software that he used in setting up the financial programs for the health care industry. He met Judi Jaskiel there and they were married on July 20, 1996, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he had moved his offices. Paul's love of boats and the ocean began when he was very young even though he grew up on the edge of the desert. His move to Florida was prompted so he could have larger boats. He bought a condo on the top of a 31 story building that overlooked the marina where his boats were moored on one side and the ocean on the other. He went to Italy and earned his captaincy. He will be remembered for his love of boats, his integrity, honesty, creativity, a generous heart and his love for his family. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife Judi, and their four children, Brian Paul King and his wife Marcia of Novato, California, Ryan Peter King of London, England, Joelle Jaskiel of Ft.
