My heart is heavy today thinking of you gone from this earth but, I know you are in a much lovelier place now and out of pain. I'll never forget the day we met and how we immediately became friends. When I had no family in TX you were there to fill that spot and you filled it well! I'll never forget you! I'll always love you, you were very special to me. Now, go frolic in that field of purple flowers and I will see you again one day my beautiful friend!

Barba and David,
Please know that our hearts are broken for you. We love you and are so sad for your loss. Scarlett was a beautiful young woman who fought a great fight with MS while always loving her Lord, Jesus Christ.

We are currently in Wisconsin getting ready to bring my elderly parents back to Texas on Sunday. Please know our thoughts, prayers and love are with you. We want to be at the service tomorrow but it is just impossible. We WILL be there in spirit!

May you eventually have peace knowing Scarlett is in the arms of our Loving Lord!
In Him, Patti and Jim Loftin....your Connection Group friends!

We were friends since Junior high school. Not the closest of friends, but still friends. Like many, we drifted apart as life took us on our separate journeys. Thanks to social media, we reconnected a few years ago and renewed our friendship. She was the same kind-hearted, warm, fun-loving person in recent years as she was as a teenager. Though life had taken her on a sometimes rocky journey, she was able to face it all with a positive spirit and an open heart. She was, simply put, a good person. I am grateful to have known someone like her, and for the memories of the talks we had. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Rest in peace, my good friend....

Scarlett was a lovely lady, strong in faith and generous with her love. I feel blessed to have shared time, here on earth, with her-- and the pain of losing her is comforted only by knowing the Lord holds her in his embrace.
