Terry Fullen, 80, died on July 5, 2014 at his home in Midland, Texas. Terry was born on January 19, 1934, in Big Spring, Texas, to Alan and Mattie Fullen. He grew up in Forsan, Texas and graduated from Forsan High School in 1952. After graduation, he become a certified electrician. On June 17, 1961, Terry married Darla Adamson, and they made Midland their home for most of their 53 years. Terry proudly served in the United States Army from 1955 - 1957, where he was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado. He worked for various oil and gas companies but most favored his employment with Amoco Oil Corporation, whose field office was in Andrews, Texas. He travelled to Aberdeen, Scotland for Amoco as a submergible pump specialist. His expertise and integrity were respected by his peers in the oil and gas industry. Terry loved and enjoyed his family, his many friends, and his neighbors. He wished to be remembered for the smiles and the laughter that they brought into his life and for the memories that were created during their visits. At an early age, Terry accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Midland, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Mattie Fullen; and his sister, Maxine Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Darla; his daughter, Shauna Jardine and her husband Scott; his two granddaughters, Abby and Callie Jardine; his twin brother, Jerry Fullen and his wife Sonja; his sister, Louise Smith; his sister-in-law, Sonya Smyrl and her husband Bill; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Grateful appreciation is extended to the caring and compassionate staff of Home Hospice, 200 W.
