Frank M. Rodriguez, 82, of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Frank was born Saturday, April 12, 1930, in Texas City, Texas, to Rosendo and France Rodriguez. He married the love of his life, Margaret Zarate Rodriguez in 1948, which was also the year he moved to Midland and worked as a farmer for many years. In 1969, he moved to Eloy, Arizona, where he loved to give his grandchildren tractor rides, which is a memory that they will always keep. Frank loved to go fishing and enjoyed watching western movies and news, but most of all he loved his family. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Rosendo Rodriguez and France Rodriguez; six brothers; one sister; and two great-great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Zarate Rodriguez; sons, Frankie Jr. Rodriguez and Roy Rodriguez; daughters, Louisa Rodriguez Ramirez, Josie Martinez, and Angie Sigala. Frank also leaves behind 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 12, 2012, from 6:00-9:00 p.m., at Ellis Funeral Home. A funeral service has been scheduled for Saturday, October 13, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Fred Steen, officiating.
