Jocklyn Dean Beaty was born August 22, 1955 in Lawton Oklahoma to Nathaniel Beaty, and Quilla Mae Beaty. He went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2014 in Midland. He graduated from Robert E, Lee High School, and then went to work for Mobile Oil, and retired after 25 years of service. Jocklyn was a dedicated worker, son, father, uncle, and friend, he will be dearly missed by all. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Quilla Mae Beaty of Midland. Three sisters, Cuesta Reye Beaty of Winter Haven, Florida; Mamie Louise Beaty; and Gwendolyn Necole Johnson, of Midland. Five brothers, Marvin Louis Beaty, James Perry Thompson, and Lathan Charles Beaty of Midland, Derrell Glenn Beaty of Sacramento, California, Nathaniel Beaty Jr. and Snl Lavern Beaty of Dallas. Two children, daughter, Nadasha Lockhart of Dallas, Texas; a son, Jedarthur Quinn Green of San Diego, California; three grandchildren and one great-grandchilld. Jocklyn also leaves numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Wednesday February 5, 2014 At 11:00 am in the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel.
