Floyd Ray Miller, 84, of Midland, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in Midland. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 6:00-8:00PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 9:00AM at Resthaven Memorial Park. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11:00AM at First Christian Church of Midland of with Rev. Mike Hunter and Rev. Paula Brooks officiating. Floyd was born on November 25, 1929 to Gladys & Odell Miller in Abilene, Texas. Floyd Miller served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950-1954. After he retired as the owner from Mid-Tex of Midland he continued remodeling homes as Miller Consulting. His passions included his church, golf, playing gin and his grand kids. Survivors include his wife, Doris Miller of Midland; his son Kirk Miller and his wife Sandra of Arvada, Colorado; son David Colley and his wife Terrie of Dallas, Texas his daughters Terri Williams and her husband Charlie of Dallas, Texas and Jaci Sandelin of Los Angeles, California and his 12 grandchildren, Damon, Samantha, John, Nathan, Jeff, Ryan, Amy, Rebecca, Christina, Jake, Luke, and Nick, seven great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Mary Miller and 16 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his late wife, JoAnn Miller and daughter Karen Miller.
